Design of the Month: February 2020

Showcasing our featured design for the month of February 2020!

This luxurious and contemporary three storey landed home will be constructed by SC Design and Build.

Our client was looking for a high-end home design that made copious use of glass, taking this in mind, our designers fufilled the request through the use of minimalist floor length glass windows that let in plenty of natural light and ensured an unobstructed view of the outdoors.

Focusing on the basics of line, shape and form, the interior design for every room showcases luxury in a sophisticated manner, from the stunning double height living room to the family room on the top floor that utilizes texture in a visually interesting and stylish manner.

A unique and challenging request from our client was for an outdoor pool to be built that was split into three zones, one for jacuzzi, a relaxing floating platform where poolside chairs could be placed, and finally, the largest zone to be the swimming pool. Our designers had to take into consideration various factors such as: coming up with a design that visually meshes well with the home, how the client’s household would use the pool, choice of material and how the pool would be lit.
