5. Hidden Doors
In this 3-Gen HDB apartment, one of the bedrooms is actually located right between the main door and TV wall! Having a regular bedroom door right next to the main door makes the HDB flat interior look cramped and cluttered. Our designer came up with the idea of incorporating a subtle bespoke door that blends in easily with the color palette of the home, resembling a feature wall rather than a door, it adds a touch of chic sophistication to the home interior.
4. Customized Kitchen Cabinets
Who says HDB kitchens have be dull and lifeless? These custom-made kitchen cabinets that feature integrated strip lighting offer a visually striking upgrade to your culinary space, the subtle glow emanating from the strategically placed LED strips not only highlight the intricate details of the cabinets but also impart a warm ambiance. Paired with timeless materials such as dark wood upper kitchen cabinets, marble countertops, a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere is formed in the kitchen interior, combining form and function.
3. Ultra-Specialized Storage
Having trouble keeping your HDB flat clutter-free? Ultra-specialized carpentry storage solutions can be bespoke, to be tailored to the needs of our client. Situated right next to the front door, hanging rods provide convenient access to bags and jackets when leaving the home, a built-in seat with integrated storage is situated right next to a shoe cabinet, allowing shoes to be worn and taken off easily. Custom-sized storage cabinets are built to the ceiling, ensuring maximized use of space. Architectural downlights draw attention to the indoor bicycle racks, crafted with sophisticated dark wood, alongside it are multiple shelf compartments for storage of bicycle helmets, water bottles, bags and a variety of sporting goods.
2. Mirrored Panels
Made with inexpensive and sustainable bamboo charcoal veneer, these mirror panels that line the ceiling of the dry kitchen is reminiscent of luxury bars. When paired with curated light sources, the mirror bamboo charcoal veneer panels reflect the light, boosting brightness in a room and adding atmosphere as well as dimension to the room, tricking the eye to make the room seem larger as well.
1. Wainscotting / Wall Panelling
Wainscoting is a type of decorative wall paneling that can serve as an elegant and timelessly luxe design feature. In this HDB loft apartment, the classic charm of white wainscoting immediately imparts a sense of classic luxury, giving the HDB apartment a polished appearance. Furthermore, the white surface of the wainscoting contributes to a brighter and airier atmosphere, creating an illusion of space and enhancing the overall appeal of the interior, elevating the HDB apartment’s interior.
