Volunteer Work: A Charity Dim Sum Meal For The Elderly

At Singapore Carpentry we recognize the importance of giving back to our community, which is why we held a fully-sponsored dim sum buffet at for over a hundred elderly persons!

With the help of our team and special thanks to our staff member Koen, we were able to organize this large charity event at the famous restaurant Yum Cha Chinatown, providing terrific food and giving back generously to our community of pioneers.

On top of that, our volunteers organized a game of Bingo, giving away grand prizes and making sure everyone had fun at the charity event!

Why do we volunteer?  Volunteering enriches our society and community, offers vital help to people in need as well as worthwhile causes. Volunteering can help you to find friends, connect with the community and even have a profound effect on your overall psychological well-being.

Singapore Carpentry plans to organize more and more charity events in the future as we focus on developing into a company that values ethics as well as giving back to our local community.

Currently our latest charity project is Wishlist where we seek to reduce waste and support the needy in our community in an environmentally friendly way through the donation and delivery of unwanted furniture as well as appliances. Feel free to contact us for any enquiries.
